SMARTBIOCONTROL - Portefeuille de projets - Plateforme transfrontalière de recherche et de formation pour la promotion du biocontrôle des agents phytopathogènes
Biocontrol, at the heart of the Smartbiocontrol portfolio, is a set of plant protection methods based on the use of natural mechanisms.
Biocontrol is based on 4 categories of approches :
– Macro-organisms
– Chemical mediators
– Micro-organisms
– Natural substances of plant, animal, mineral or microbial origin.
The activity of microorganisms active in biocontrol is generally linked to their ability to produce secondary metabolites, such as lipopeptides. These can be used for their antifungal or surfactant activities, or their ability to induce plant defense systems, … Lipopeptides can then be classified as “natural substances” while the producing strains are found in the “microorganisms” class.
Here, the information on biocontrol is represented in the form of a tree. Each label of the tree is clickable, allowing access to specific educational resources: PDF, video, article, …
A branch of the tree is more specifically dedicated to the results obtained in the Smartbiocontrol project.
